With a love of color, a love of glass and a love of texture I have found a medium that satisfies all those creative urges. I am fortunate to have friends and family members that give me their cast-offs. So I have an endless supply of material with which to work. I never know what new thing I will inherit that will eventually make its way into one of my pieces.

Karen Sullivan holds a BFA in fine art and has worked as a graphic artist for over 20 years. She was formerly an art instructor for the Recreation Department for the City of Virginia Beach. She currently specializes in the fine art of batik, fused glass, polymer clay, mosaics, hand made ceramic and fused glass tiles. Member of the Tidewater Artists Association.
