Batik

Batik.... is a process of applying dyes to fabric and then waxing the areas of that color that you wish to retain before going on to the next color dye bath. Another method is to use colored waxed or crayons and apply directly to the fabric then melt it into the fabric. I use the dye bath method. Each piece is an original, these are not prints.
